Bittersweet and full of pride—my daughter is officially a high school senior. In Hawai‘i, seniors celebrate this milestone by gathering to watch the sunrise together, a beloved tradition known as Senior Sunrise. 🌄 Standing on the beach with her friends as the first light of the day touched the horizon felt symbolic: a new chapter beginning, full of hope and possibility.
The day before, she came to me and asked, “Mom, can you take photos of me and my friends?” How could I possibly say no? Of course, I said yes. ❤︎ As a mom and also a photographer, moments like these are priceless. This wasn’t just about taking pictures—it was about preserving a milestone that comes once in a lifetime.
